How Much Does a Website Cost?
Have you noticed that most web designers don’t divulge how much a website will cost until they have you firmly in their clutches. They make all kinds of excuses on their websites not to give you the information you need but the truth is they want to charge the most possible.
Our clearly stated information on pricing, is on our home page, right where you can see it up front. The only thing we don’t include is the price of an ecommerce section because until we talk, we have no idea how large, or how complex, or how simple your shop is going to be.
THE PRICE YOU PAY IS A ONE-TIME PAYMENT. THERE ARE NO MONTHLY PAYMENTS THAT GO ON FOREVER OTHER THAN A VERY SMALL MONTHLY PAYMENT FOR HOSTING. At this stage, that hosting payment is just £3.60 per month for six months and £6.00 per month thereafter. Includes vat.
Our pricing is we believe the best value available. We are not the cheapest and don’t intend to be but we never knowingly overprice.
Within the price figure you also get my undivided attention. I’m Brian. I own Norfolk Web Designers. I restrict myself to building one website at a time – and when that’s yours, that means getting my 100% undivided attention.
SEO
Once the design is set up and the site is live we utilise a Search Engine Optimisation program (SEO) acknowledged as a world leader in maximising your site’s ranking in Google. This is a free add in on all premium sites.
CMS
Within all our websites (except Premium) we include a Content Management System (CMS) which allows you to add or delete text and images yourself. We also include a training session and include free back-up by phone or email should you need it at any time. Your shop, or e-commerce pages are also easily editable by you.
Responsive
All sites are fully responsive. That means when seen on a different sized device – desk top computer > tablet > mobile – the site cleverly adapts to fit while remaining fully readable and great to look at. Google describes our websites when shown on mobile phones as “Awesome” and that means they get the best possible ranking based on the site content.
Maintenance
With our Content Management System you will be able to make most changes yourself but if you don’t have time, don’t feel confident enough or for any other reason, we will be happy to make the changes for you on an ad hoc basis – and the service will be quick! Most of our changes are turned around within 24 hours of the request. Need us to look after your e-commerce pages on an ad hoc basis – no problem.
